Feedback from the beta
the beta
I was not going to be the one who dropped out in week two.
The watch logs it. There is nothing to argue about.
Forty dollars is small enough to be funny and big enough to work.
I finished a week I would have skipped every other year.
Checking the standings became the first thing I do.
Three of us hit all four weeks. The fourth one paid for dinner.

How it works
Make the workout non-optional.
- Step 1
Start a challenge and invite your friends
Pick a weekly goal. Everyone pays the same entry fee, $20 to $100.
- Step 2
Train. Your wearable does the reporting.
Connect Apple Watch or Whoop. Every workout is checked automatically. No manual logging.
- Step 3
Hit your goal every week, share the prize pool
ZoneStreak keeps 15%. Finishers split the rest equally. Miss a week and your fee stays in for the people who finished.
Entry fees run $20 to $100 and we take 15%. The private beta is free to join and takes no payment.
Read the full mechanicsVerification
Your wearable is the referee.
Every workout is read straight off the device. Nobody self-reports.
- Apple Watch
- Whoop
- More coming soon
- Sensor data only. Manual entries typed into Health are ignored.
- Sync before the deadline. The app shows the cutoff for every week.
- It has to meet the rule. Each challenge sets its own bar, and a workout counts only if it clears it.
Questions
Good to know.
Is the outcome based on luck?
No. ZoneStreak is a skill-based contest. Whether you share the prize pool depends only on whether you complete the goal you committed to. No draw, no random element, no ranking. Two people who both hit their goals both get paid.
What am I actually paying for?
A place in a specific challenge with a defined goal and length. Your fee goes into that challenge's prize pool, and ZoneStreak takes a flat 15% of the prize pool to run verification, payments and the app. Both numbers are shown before you join.
What happens if I miss a week?
You are out of that challenge and your fee stays in the prize pool for the people who finish. Join the next one whenever you like. No penalty beyond the fee you already paid.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, any time before the challenge starts. After it starts, fees are committed to the prize pool because other participants are counting on them. If we cancel, everyone is refunded in full. Full policy on the Pricing and fees page.
How are workouts verified?
Through your wearable. ZoneStreak reads workout data from Apple Watch (via Apple Health) or Whoop and checks it against the challenge rule. You never self-report, upload screenshots, or ask anyone to confirm anything.
Who can join?
Adults 18 and over in the United States, with an iPhone and an Apple Watch or Whoop. The wearable is how workouts get verified, so it is required. No Android yet.
What devices do I need?
An iPhone, plus an Apple Watch or a Whoop. That is the whole list today. Android is not supported yet, and neither are other wearables, but broader device support is what we are working on next.
Who runs ZoneStreak?
Goodware Labs LLC, a United States company. Reach us any time at hello@zonestreak.com.
