Privacy Policy

1.Quick reference

We collect your email, your ZoneStreak activity, and, with your permission, workout and heart-rate data from Apple HealthKit. We use it to sign you in, verify workouts, and run challenges. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health data for advertising.

2.Information we collect

Account information: your email address, and a display name if you set one.

Health and workout data: with your permission, workout and heart-rate records from Apple HealthKit, along with the source information (which app or device recorded each workout).

App activity: your challenges, your practice-point balances and history within games, notification preferences, and, if you enable notifications, a device push token.

Technical data: basic device and diagnostic information needed to operate the app and fix problems.

3.How we use your information

We use your information to run the core loop: sign you in, verify workouts, track challenges and streaks, keep score with practice points, send the reminders and results you have opted into, detect and prevent fraud and cheating, fix bugs, and keep the Service secure.

We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

4.HealthKit and consumer health data

Health data read through HealthKit is used solely to provide workout-verification features inside the app. We only read the workout and heart-rate types needed for verification, and only after you grant permission in the iOS Health permission screen.

Consistent with Apple's requirements, we do not use HealthKit data for marketing or advertising, we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not sell it. Your heart-rate and workout data are treated as sensitive.

iOS controls your Health permissions. You can review or revoke ZoneStreak's access at any time in the Apple Health app under Sharing.

5.Information shared with other players

Other players in a challenge can see your display name, your progress, and the challenge activity you generate. They cannot see your email address or your raw health data.

6.How we share information

We share data only with service providers that help us run the app, for example email delivery, push notifications and hosting, and only as needed to provide the Service. These providers are bound to handle it on our behalf and not for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy).

7.Communications

We use your email to send sign-in codes and account- and challenge-related messages. If you enable push notifications, we send reminders and results to your device. You can manage notification preferences in the app or your device settings. We do not currently run an SMS program.

8.Analytics and aggregated data

We may create aggregated or de-identified data (which cannot reasonably be used to identify you) to understand and improve the Service. We may use and share that data freely. This is a mobile app; we do not run advertising trackers or third-party ad pixels in it.

9.Data retention and your choices

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account from within the app; when you do, we delete or de-identify your personal data, except where we are required to keep records by law. You can also email us to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.

If you join the waitlist on our website, we keep your email address only to tell you when you can join, and you can email support@zonestreak.com to have it removed.

You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in the Apple Health app, and turn off notifications in your device settings.

10.Your privacy rights (U.S. states and EU/UK)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of it. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If you are in the EU, UK, or EEA, we process your data to provide the Service (contract), with your consent (for HealthKit access), and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service. You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

11.Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the data we hold safe and to collect as little of it as we can.

12.Children

ZoneStreak is for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete such data if we discover it.
